EVERY DOG DESERVES A CHAMPION

Many of the dogs at Huellitas de Acero A.C. arrive with special needs, whether medical, behavioral, or emotional.

While we provide them with all the love and care they deserve, some require additional resources to overcome their challenges and find forever homes.

Rosie

Update on little Rosie, the pup that was brought to us after being abused where we believe she incurred a spinal injury that caused her to become incontinent. She was rescued after her owner had broken her tail off from her spine She had surgery to remove her tail , thanks to Vicki Mitchell Cole for paying for her surgery

We were praying that with the removal of the tail that she would regain feeling and it would improve her chronic incontinence, but she still does not have control over her bladder or bowels & has to be cleaned daily🥲.

She’s a happy, healthy pup in every other way & if she continues like this she’ll spend the rest of her life at the shelter. We wonder if there is possibly a surgery or treatment that would fix this issue in Mexico City or Canada, but we don’t have the money or resources to investigate. If you’d like to help Rosie by offering to have her flown to you where she could receive better medical care & evaluation we’d be happy to find a flight angel & get her to you. We want Rosie to have a better life so please help if you can with ideas, donations or an offer to adopt.
